The best sales people go deep. Surface understanding isn’t enough. Ancillary knowledge doesn’t satisfy. The best go deep. They push the edges. They realize being “the” experts elevates their sales status.
Going deep takes hard work. As the edges are pushed there are fewer people or books to guide you. As you go deeper the script flips, u become the sought out expert. As you go deeper you begin to set the rules rather than be bound by them. The deeper you go the fewer the constraints. Going deep changes the game.
