I was looking at the traffic to this blog the other day and I realized that it has experienced year over year growth every month for 50 straight months, with one exception. That is telling me this community is still growing. I love that.

What I also noticed however is, the comments are down. That’s not as fun.

All this got me wondering, is the community really growing?

Defining community is kinda tricky. Is community measured on the number of times someone visits the site or how often they comment or is it something else. To me it’s how often they visit. Just because someone doesn’t comment doesn’t mean they aren’t part of the community. If someone is continually visiting A Sales Guy and taking in the information, they are part of the community. I have met a number of people who say they have been reading A Sales Guy regularly for “years” and I had no idea.

With this in mind, I’m curios about the consumers as well as the participants of this blog. I’d like to meet you. Therefore, I’m going to ask a favor– if you read this blog at least once a week please leave a comment with how long and how often you read/visit A Sales Guy. (Ex: 2 x a week for 8 months).

I think it will be really interesting to see how often and how long folks in this community have been participating.

Why am I asking? Because I want to know who you are. I want to know who is in the house and I want to thank you.

I also think It will make the blog that much more personal for me and hopefully you too!
