My new Forbes post is up.
Like most of my posts, the ones I think are just OK, do really well, and the ones I think are homeruns, fizzle and die a painful death in obscurity.
This post has been fairly popular. I knew it was an important topic, but I didn’t realize how much it would resonate with sales leaders and sales people alike.
Enjoy and let me know what you think.
The One Thing Sales People Should Do In 2017 To Increase Revenue
A very interesting and well written post by Keenan. Many thanks for sharing it with us.
Great post, Keenan. Coaching is always a great key in helping increase the sales. I believe in this post as I have read about 2017 sales predictions from the experts, too, and most of them have mentioned about coaching and its evolution. This Tenfold article by Aki Merced is pretty lengthy, but can come in handy for sales managers who are looking to grow their team through coaching. https://www.tenfold.com/sales-leadership/sales-predictions-2017-16-experts-weigh-in/
Call recording definitely helps — especially for inside sales and phone-based sales. Role-playing and simulations can also help. But honestly, I think identifying and tracking the key metrics and activities to drive sales is key.
